al-Yawaaqit Wal Jawaaher of Abdul Wahab Sha’rani narrates from Al Futuhaat al-Makkiyah, Know that the reappearance of Mahdi is inevitable. However he shall not reappear until the earth has been filled with cruelty and oppression. He shall be from the lineage of the Holy Prophet (sawa) and from the progeny of Fatemah (sa). His great grandfather is Imam Husain Ibne Ali Ibne Abi Talib (as) and his father is Hasan Askari (as), the son of Imam Ali Naqi (as), the son of Imam Muhammad Taqi (as), the son of Imam Ali Reza (as), the son of Imam Musa Kazim (as), the son of Imam Jafar Sadiq (as), the son of Imam Mohammed Baqir (as), the son of Imam Ali Ibne Abi Talib (as). The author of Durrul Musawiya writes, Those whom I found to be having the same belief as we Shiites in the matter of Imam Mahdi are Mohammed Ibne Yusuf Ganji Shafaei in Al Bayan Fee Akhbaris Sahebaz Zaman, Mohamed Ibne Talha Shafaei in Mataalib-us-Soal, Sibt Ibne Jauzi in Tazkeratul Aimmah and Sha’rani in al-Yawaaqit Wal Jawaaher where they have all said, “Mahdi is the son of Imam Hasan Askari (as). He was born in the night of fifteenth of Shaban 255 AH and is still living until he and Isa Ibne Maryam meet each other.
Shaykh Salahuddin Safadi whose exact statement has been narrated in the book of Yanabiul Mawaddah from Sharh-e-Dayera, Shaykh Ali Ibne Mohammed Maliki in his book Fusulul Muhimmah and Shaykh Hamuini Shafaei in Faraedus Simtayn have narrated, Verily the promised Mahdi is the son of Abi Mohammed Hasan Askari son of Ali Naqi (as)

Mohammed ibne Usman narrates from his father, I was in presence of Imam Askari (as) and asked the question, “Till Qiyamat the earth will not be empty with an Imam and that one who dies without recognising the time of Imam will die the death of an ignorant?
Imam replied, This is a clear fact. I asked, O the son of Holy Prophet (sawa)! After you who will be Hujjat”, Imam replied, After me my son Mohammed will be the Imam. Whoever dies without recognising him will die as an ignorant. Beware that he will have occultation … falsehood will perish and whoever fixes the time of his reappearance will be a liar. When the time of Ghaybat will be over he will reappear and you will see a white flag from Najaf (Beharul Anwar, volume 51, page 160)
