يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ اصْبِرُواْ وَصَابِرُواْ وَرَابِطُواْ وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ
“O you who believe! Be patient and vie one with another in endurance and be ready (to defend against surprise attacks) and fear Allah that haply you may succeed”
Imam Baqir (as) explained the verse, “O you who believe! Be patient and vie one with another in endurance and be ready (to defend against surprise attacks) and fear Allah that haply you may succeed”. He (as) said, Be patient in carrying out your obligatory duties, persevere against your enemies, and be prepared to be garrisoned at the frontiers of (the army of) your awaited Imam (as). (Al Ghaybah by Nomani page 105)
Regarding the above verse, Imam Mohammed Baqir (as) said, “Be patient upon fulfilling your obligatory duties and be steadfast while facing the oppression of your enemies and be in contact with your awaited Imam Mahdi (as)” (Beharul Anwar volume 24 page 219)
